IC24 is a UK health and care social enterprise supporting urgent care services for more than six million patients across the regions it serves.

Challenge

Staff needed secure remote access to collaboration tools, contact center calls and sensitive systems while healthcare service levels remained under pressure.

What Tesrex changed.

Tesrex treated the problem as healthcare continuity under pressure: keep patient service running, reuse the collaboration estate and secure access before moving teams remote.

  1. Used the existing Cisco unified communications estate rather than forcing a platform replacement.
  2. Extended remote collaboration with Webex Teams and secure access through Cisco AnyConnect VPN.
  3. Enabled remote agents to receive patient calls through Cisco Expressway contact center access.
  4. Used Cisco Flex Plan capacity so the organisation could add employees quickly during urgent demand.
